Yolt is the multi award-winning app that makes managing money, easy. At the forefront of innovation enabled by PSD2 and powered by open banking technology, our smart thinking money app gives users a clear overview of their connected bank accounts, credit cards and spending together in one place. After launching in the UK June 2017, then France and Italy in 2018 we quickly reached 1 million registered users; giving them all the tools to spend smart, save smart and reach their goals. Recently we embarked on an exciting new pivot into the payments space. In the not too distant future all Yolt users will be able to send and receive payments directly from their Yolt account.
What we’re looking for
We are expanding our platform into an exciting new direction and we are looking for a Product Specialist to gain the best in class knowledge in the field of payments. You will bring a lot of experience and a network in payments from previous roles, you will be the go-to person within Yolt as comes down to payments. You have in depth understanding of the customers struggles and needs. You are op top of market trends and the latest payments technology. The role has both as an operational as well as a strategic focus which we will further explain below.
You will be working in a scrum-team with a Product Manager, UX designer, Analyst and Engineers to deliver value to our users and business every sprint. You will be in touch with our Customer Care team on a daily basis to stay on top of our community feedback. You will be checking our analytics frequently and take the lead in driving adoption and usage of our current payments solution. You favor data driven decision making, know how to optimize online funnels and have experience with A/B testing.
Reporting into our Head of Concept and working closely with the Product Manager - Payments you will be setting the payments strategy for the years to come. With your understanding of the latest payments technologies and trends, you will shape loosely defined ideas to specific proposals. Together with the UX designer you are responsible for designing, validating, evaluating and implementing customer journeys for new and existing users. Together with the Product Manager you will be prioritizing the roadmap to make Yolt reach its ambitious targets.
What you'll need
o Bsc/ Msc in Product, Technology, Business or similar
o 4-6 years of experience in a similar role (ie. Payments Consultant, Customer Experience, Product Manager)
o Experience with online payments solutions (ie. payment provider, virtual accounts, online banking etc.)
o Knowledge of PSD2, PFM and payments
o Knowledge on payments regulations
o Strong network in the payments scene
o Analytically strong and data savvy with experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
o Experience with user analytics tracking tools (ie Webtrekk, Google Analytics, …)
o Have worked with lean methodologies (such as A/B testing) in online software development before
o Fluent in English (other additional EU languages are highly valued)
o Strong communication and presentation skills, you don’t stay in the shadows, you have the ability to visualize, shape and communicate in a way that gets buy in
o You show genuine commitment, creativity and are reliable and responsible
