Can I categorise a pending transaction?

Due to the nature of pending transactions from connected accounts, the transaction's details (such as the description, amount, merchant's name etc...) are passed on to Yolt by your bank are likely to change once it's fully cleared. Once this happens, Yolt will update the transaction description according to the instructions from your bank.

When a transaction is pending, this means your categorisation might not stick once the transaction is updated. That's why you're not able to categorise a pending transaction in Yolt until it's been cleared.

Pending transactions are usually cleared by your bank or merchant within a couple of days. You'll be able to assign them to your preferred category once they no longer in a pending status.
