Why can't I add my account via open banking?
Some financial institutions don't have an API ready yet and, in some cases, the accounts they've provided don't meet the criteria for PSD2.
Payment Services Directive 2 (or PSD2) is an EU-wide legislation that aims to open up the financial industry by requiring banks to make their APIs available to other financial institutions and third-party providers (like Yolt). This applies to payment accounts only (accounts from which a payment can be made).
If your account isn't available in Yolt, it could mean we haven't on boarded it yet. You can see our upcoming connections here. You can also drop us a request for a new connection via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
