Syncing your accounts: guides


Yolt requires you to enter your full details and the fields in the app are case-sensitive.

To start, if you're encountering issues, it helps if you log into your provider's online banking portal (via their website, not the mobile banking app) to check for any pending notifications or alerts that require your attention before Yolt can sync.


Amazon Credit Card

To connect your Amazon credit card account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Password and your 6-digit Passcode.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive. Forgotten your details? Not to worry, you can fill out a short online form to receive an email reminder of your username and password on the Amazon credit card website.

American Express

Your Amex Username is typically between 5-20 characters and contains at least 1 letter.

Your password is typically 8 - 20 characters and contains at least 1 letter and 1 number.

Aqua Credit Card

To add your Aqua credit card account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username / Internet ID, Password / Memorable word and your 6-Digit Passcode.

Bank of Scotland

Your Bank of Scotland Username is 9-30 characters long. Your Password is typically 2 - 20 characters long and should contain at least 3 letters.

Bank Of Ireland

To add your Bank of Ireland savings account or credit card, you’ll need your User ID, Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy), the last four digits of your mobile number, and your 6-digit PIN. These are the exact same credentials you’d normally use for your Bank of Ireland online banking website.

Once you’ve inserted your details, when you get to the field that requests for your mobile number, please input the last four digits of the mobile number you registered to Bank of Ireland online banking.

Barclaycard

Your Username is usually between 8 - 16 characters long and is comprised of a mix of letters and numbers. Your Barclaycard Passcode is a 6 digit string of numbers - the same you use when logging into Barclaycard Online Banking.

You set these details up when you registered for Barclaycard Online Banking.

Barclays

Your passcode and memorable word can be viewed in your Barclays Online Banking customer portal. Once logged into Barclays Online Banking, if you click on the drop-down menu below your name in the top right hand corner of the screen you’ll see an option to set your memorable word and passcode. You can then view or change your current memorable word and passcode.

Capital One Credit Card

To add your Capital One account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username (Saver ID) and Password.

Citi

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Clydesdale Bank

To add your Clydesdale Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer Number and Password.

Your Customer Number is a 10-digit number used to access internet and telephone banking. It was sent to you when you first registered.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

First Direct

To add your First Direct account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Memorable Answer and Electronic Password.

HSBC

To add your HSBC account to the Yolt app you’ll need to enter the same login information you use for the HSBC Online Banking website – when selecting without using digital Secure Key. This includes your full Username, Memorable information and Password.

Your Username is a 12 digit number starting with IB. You were given this when you registered for HSBC online banking. You can also use a personal Username that you may of set up.

Your memorable information was set up by you when you set up your online banking profile.

Your password is what you use when logging in to your HSBC online banking profile without using Secure key. It’s typically 8-30 characters long containing both numbers and letters.

Halifax

Your User ID is the 9 digit code that was given to you when you registered for Halifax Online Banking

The password needed to add your Halifax account to the Yolt app is the same one you use to log into the Halifax Online Banking Portal, this is usually a series of letters and numbers.

Your 'Memorable Information' is usually 6-15 characters longs, with no spaces. It contains at least 3 letters and 1 number and is always different to your user ID and Password.

Intelligent Finance

To add your Intelligent Finance account to Yolt you’ll need to enter the same login information you use for the Intelligent Finance Online Banking website. This includes your Online Username and the Online Password, as well as one of the Security Questions.

Both the Online Username and Online Password are at least 6 characters long, and can contain letters and/or numbers but no spaces. Your security question, instead, was chosen by you while setting up your online banking account.

John Lewis Credit Card

To add your John Lewis Credit Card account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Password and Online Banking PIN.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Lloyds

To add your Lloyds account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full User ID, Password and Memorable Information.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

MBNA Credit Card

Your username is typically between 6 - 32 characters and can be a mix of numbers, letters and special characters but will contain no spaces. It must contain letters and no more than 2 consecutive characters.

Your password is typically between 8 and 20 characters. Your password will be a mix of numbers and letters and will not be the same as your customer ID number.

Marks and Spencer

To add your M&S Credit Card account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username and Password.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Metro Bank

Your Customer number was preset and sent to you when you registered for Metro Bank online banking and is 12 digits long. If you have your own username then it can be a mix of both numbers and letters.

Your Password is 7 characters long and contains a mix of both letters and numbers.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

NS&I

To add your NS&I account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your NS&I Number, Surname and Password.

Your number is 8-10 digits long followed by a character. This was given to you when you registered to NS&I online services or was changed by you after registration. You can find this number by logging into your online banking account.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Nationwide

To add your Nationwide account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer number, Passnumber and Memorable date.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Natwest

To add your Natwest account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer Number and PIN.

Your customer number was given to you when you signed up for Natwest Online Banking. It is your date of birth followed by your unique number which identifies you to the bank. So for example, if your date of birth is the 1st of January 1983 then your customer number would start 010183 followed by up to 4 numbers. If you’ve forgotten your customer number you can find it within the `More` menu in the Natwest Mobile app.

Your PIN is the four digit number chosen by you when you registered for Natwest Online Banking, this may be different from the PIN you use at ATMs. Your Password is the one you chose when you registered to Natwest Online Banking, it has between 6 and 20 characters.

Post Office credit card

To connect your Post Office credit card, you’ll need your Username, Password and Memorable Answer to your Security Question.

These are the exact same credentials you normally use when logging into your Post Office credit card online banking website.

If you’ve forgotten your credentials, not to worry. You can retrieve / reset them on the Post Office online banking website.

Royal Bank of Scotland

To add your RBS account to the app you need to enter your Customer Number, Security number and Password.

This was given to you when you signed up for Digital Banking, is your date of birth (ddmmyy) followed by your unique number which identifies you to the bank. So for example if your date of birth is 9th March 1967 then your customer number would start 090367 followed by up to 4 numbers.

Your security number is the four-digit number chosen by you when you registered for online banking. It may be a different number from the PIN you use at ATM's.

Your password will have between 6-20 characters and must include at least one letter and number.

Sainsbury's Bank

To add your Sainsbury’s Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Password and Online PIN.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Santander

To add your Santander account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer ID and Password and full 5-digit Security number.

Your Santander Personal/Customer ID is typically between 10-20 characters and may also be known as your "Customer number."

Your Online Banking password is typically at least 8 characters and may contain letters and numbers. It was previously known as your passcode.

Smile

To add your Smile Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter the same login information you use for the Smile Bank Online Banking website. This includes your Username, Password and the 2 random digits of your Security Code.

Your Username and Password are both alphanumeric characters and can be as long as 30 characters. Your Security Code, instead, is a 6 number digits.

TSB

To add your TSB Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full “User ID”, Password and Memorable Information.

These are the same credentials you use when logging into your Online Banking profile. Please note, these fields are case-sensitive.

Tesco Bank

To add your Tesco Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Security number and Password.

You may get a one-time login PIN sent to you via SMS, please ensure you enter this PIN promptly as this expires after a few minutes.

The Co-operative Bank

To add your Co-operative Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Username, Password and full 6-digit security code.

Your Username should be 8-20 characters long. Your Password should contain a mix of letters, numbers and special characters.

Ulster Bank

To add your Ulster bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer Number, Password and online banking PIN.

Your customer number starts with your date of birth followed by up to 4 digits. You can find your customer number in the "More" tab in your Ulster mobile banking app.

Vanquis Credit Card

To start, please log into your online banking website for your Vanquis credit card and check for any pending alerts or notifications that may require your attention. Once you’ve done that, manually log out of the website so that Yolt can resume connection.

To connect your Vanquis credit card on Yolt, you’ll need you Internet ID, Memorable Word and Passcode. These are the exact same credentials you normally use to log into your Vanquis online banking website.

If you’ve forgotten your credentials, not to worry, you can reset them on your Vanquis online banking website.

Virgin Credit Card

To add your Virgin Credit Card to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full Customer ID, Password and Passcode.

Your customer ID is typically 8 characters long and could contain letters and numbers and other characters. (You created this when you first registered to use Virgins online banking services).

Yorkshire Bank

To start, can you please log into your Yorkshire online banking account and check for for any pending notifications or alerts that require your attention. Once you’ve done that, please manually click to logout of the website so that Yolt may resume connection.

To add your Yorkshire Bank account to Yolt you’ll need to enter your full “Customer Number”, “Password” and “Memorable Answer”. Please note, you need to enter these credentials in full and the fields in Yolt are case-sensitive.

Your Customer Number is usually 10 digits long and contain no other characters.
Your Password is 5 digits long and can be a mix of numbers and letters.
